# Portfolio settings

> Portfolio-level settings for notifications, completion policies, field permissions, and status transitions in AssetOps

Portfolio **Settings** in AssetOps control how work orders behave across every building in your portfolio. Open **Settings** from the portfolio sidebar to configure alerts, completion rules, field access, and status changes from one place.

Settings apply at the [portfolio level](/products/assetops/quickstart/usage-workflow#portfolio-level). Some rules can be overridden at the [building level](/products/assetops/quickstart/usage-workflow#building-level), such as [completion policies](/products/assetops/quickstart/completion-policies) for individual sites.

## Settings areas

Use the Settings secondary navigation to open each area:

## Building-level overrides
