In AssetOps, categories and issue types are created at the portfolio level and provide a consistent way to describe the type of maintenance job a work order represents. Categories define broad groups such as HVAC, electrical, or cleaning. Issue types represent specific problems or tasks within each category. This structure helps route work to the appropriate teams. You can assign categories and issue types when creating corrective maintenance work orders. Open Categories from the portfolio sidebar to open the Categories & Issues page. Use the Categories and Issue types tabs to manage each list.
