Routing & dispatch automates work order assignment at the building level. When configured, selecting a category or issue type on a new work order pre-fills the Assign team and Assignee fields. You can override assignments manually during work order creation.
Create categories and issue types at the portfolio level before you configure routing rules. Create teams at the building level for assignment targets.
Open a building from Buildings, then select Routing & dispatch in the building sidebar.

How routing works

Routing maps portfolio-level categories and issue types to a building-specific team and assignee. The page has two tabs:
  • Categories — Default assignment by category
  • Issue types — Assignment by specific issue type (overrides or refines category routing)
When a user creates a corrective maintenance work order and selects a category or issue type, AssetOps applies the matching routing rule for that building.
