Learn how to create and manage buildings in your organization portfolio
The Buildings page, accessible from the left-hand sidebar, displays all buildings in your Launchpad workspace. It allows you to create new buildings and provides detailed controls for managing existing buildings, including building details, which products are enabled, and publish status.
The Buildings page lists all buildings with name, category, address, enabled products, timezone, square feet, and status
You can filter buildings by state, city, property type, enabled products, and status using the Filters panel. You can also export the building list as a CSV or bulk import buildings from a spreadsheet.

Save
Once you have configured the required building details, click Save to create the building.
5
Publish the building
New buildings default to Unpublished. Until you publish, access in KODE OS is limited to roles that can see unpublished buildings (for example, Super Admin). When the building is ready for broader access, click Publish, then confirm with Yes, Publish. You can also publish later from the building detail page.
Creating and publishing a building is not enough for it to appear as expected in KODE OS. Your channel partner must enable products for that building from the channel Launchpad. A published building without enabled products may still be missing from KODE OS.
Base Temperature and its unit also feed weather-related widgets in Building BI. Set them to match the climate baseline you want those widgets to use.
The Buildings page lists all existing buildings in rows, with each row displaying key details about the respective building. Each building in your organization has a dedicated page that provides a centralized interface to view and manage all details related to that building. To manage a building, follow the steps outlined below:
